Soon
I will travel.
This journey,
though not forced,
is one that saps strength,
and it is one
I’ll return from soon;
once I’ve filled my belly
with rich food and laughter;
for I need
not company,
but isolation to reflect
on how only privileged few
enjoy the blessings that surely G*d
intended for all mankind.
